We are delighted to have April Burt join us for the weekend. She is a conservation scientist and April will be sharing some of her experiences and talking about the science behind everyday things that can greatly affect our wellbeing.

We chose Augill as we love its location, unique style and homely atmosphere, and the rooms we will use for the yoga/pilates sessions are also unique, this means we have limited mat space. So, we need your name on a list and true to the phrase, it's first come first served! On booking, we will check which mat classes you'd like to join over the weekend. .

Whether you would like to have a bespoke pilates or yoga session tailored to your specific needs, you have a specific injury or requirement that you’d like advice on or you’d simply love a treatment we have a few spaces available to offer you a bespoke 45minute one to one session.

YOU CHOOSE HOW TO SPEND YOUR TIME
It's important to us both that you actively choose how to spend your time. You can join us for none, one or all of our activities. You could sit & reflect on a comfy sofa, embrace solitude in your lush ensuite bedroom or take in some fresh air with a mindful stroll in the garden. Your weekend. Your choice.
On that note, you're welcome to bring a partner who would prefer to do just that!
Helping you wind down from your busy week with a restorative yoga session. We will focus on turning your attention inwards, cooling and calming the nervous system and allowing your mind and body to fully relax. Suitable for all levels.
Choose your wake up! A slow awakening of the body and mind with Helen as she guides you through a joint freeing series, a perfect way to prepare your body for the day. Need a little more? Start your day with Esmé where she will guide through a full body mobility & proprioception start to the day!
Esmé will guide you through some effective stretches and moves that will 'hit the spot' on those tension problem areas. Learn to effectively use different types of massage balls. Inform us of any areas you'd like to work on.
Yvonne's favourite topic ‘Fascia’ - the body wide connective tissue which binds, moves us and helps us ‘feel’ inside and out! We will have fun exploring some of the myriad of ways we can move, stretch, release, refresh & sense our fascia! A great informative workshop/class for all.
Helen teaches a session in Metta (kindness) yoga which helps you to practice familiar poses with the correct alignment and adaptations needed to be kind to your body. We take the time in each pose for you to feel the strengthening benefits of your yoga practice, as well as finding the correct technique, setting the perfect foundation for you to be safe and confident in faster flow type classes. Suitable for all levels. On Sunday we pick up the pace for an energised feel!

APRIL your Saturday night speaker
April Burt is a conservation scientist who's focus is on the effective management of island ecosystems. She recently lead a plastic pollution clean-up expedition to one of the world's remotest islands and was featured on Sky News. She champions women in science and exploration through her role with Wings World Quest and is currently completing her PhD at Oxford University.
ESMÉ your host & Pilates Instructor
Esmé is passionate about health and wellness, she specialises in myofascial release and lymphoedema treatments, teaches Pilates 1-1 and classes. Generally empowering and enabling others to lead healthy lives. Her many experiences throughout the world led her to the decision to set up her own business, using her skills to providing customers with a truly unique experience.
HELEN your host & Yoga Instructor
Helen is a massage therapist and mum of two fabulous boys. She is passionate about the importance of an active, healthy life and as a result, has set up her own successful massage therapy business called Bodysoul Massage. As well as teaching baby massage and yoga classes, she specialises in pregnancy and post-natal massage. She helps her clients every day to de-stress and take charge of their own health and wellbeing.
YVONNE your Fascial Fitness Instructor
Yvonne is a passionate Myofasical Bodyworker, Healthy-Steps Instructor, Fascial Fitness & Barefoot Trainer and founder of FunKi Fascia! She loves to share her knowledge and skills which she has been fortunate to acquire from masters in their field. A lover of life in all its dynamics, including the wonders of the natural world and how we interact and ‘move’ within it.
